Section Highlights - 2010 • Welcome to John!! • Operation: Responsibility (maintenance, repair, improvement) on equipments used for the operation of LINAC, LEIR, Booster, PS, TT2, TT10, SPS, LHC Transfer lines, CNGS, LHC warm magnets and experimental zones (AD, East zone, North Zone Transfer line, nTOF, CTF3, ISOLDE, LHC Test benches, CMS, ALICE, LHCb)   1500 equipments 300W-20MW.

Section Highlights - 2010 • Projects: - SPS Mains power converter: * Transformers: prototypes, tests and validation (+test bench), * Thyristors: Technical specification, contract. - New Electronic: * project start-up: functional spec (collect information from Sections) + design process. - HiRadMat: * Refurbishment/production of 14 converters (30kW/2MW – Switch Mode/Thyristor), - AD: * Consolidation program (T1B replacement, Danfysik consolidation, spare situation), * AEGIS (Delta converters), - LHC Test benches: * Electronic upgrade

Section Highlights - 2010 • Projects: - Linac 4 (Transfer Line to Booster): *production and test of 6 x 400kW converters , - Bypass 2103 (BA2): * production and test of 5 switch mode converters: purchase components in 2010 for 2011 production. - TE/ABT Test bench: MSE building 867 (24kA) * Consolidation program (control Electronic), - Booster: * Installation/commissioning of 3 converters during 2010-2011 shutdown (?). - SPS MSE/MST BA6 (extraction SPS  TI2). * Installation and commissioning of a hot spare converter during 2010-11 shutdown (?).
