Objectives of the course: • Aiming to promote liberal education through English to sophomore undergraduates, Broadcast News English adopts authentic broadcast materials in teaching to provide the learners with an authentic English environment. • Learners will be greatly motivated to know the world, enrich their knowledge and broaden their horizons through English and make English the their routine working language, thus a sustainable English acquisition mode can be achieved. • Apart from the textbook materials, learners are required to access the course website to update their knowledge, so as to achieve the above-mentioned objectives.
