  2. Our Database • The database that our group built was for the Villa Maria Academic Success Center. • The old system that they were using was completely paper filing, so it would take a long time to find any information about each student. • Our database was built to speed up that process.

  3. Evaluations • Our database will help the administration at Villa Maria be able to evaluate there tutors. • We have developed a report that will allow them to see how many hours each tutor puts in. • This report will also show previous evaluations and any notes on the tutor.

  4. Upcoming Events • We have two reports for upcoming events for each student. • One report that shows any upcoming appointments that are scheduled and who the tutor is with each student. • The other report shows upcoming exams. This report shows which subject(s) that the student has and what their current grades are.

  5. Student Form • The student form that we created allows you to edit the student information, and to create new entry's for new students. • The form also shows any tutoring sessions that each student has gone to. It shows the students preparedness, student performance during that session, upcoming exams and appointments.

  6. Tutor Form • This form shows and allows you to change and create new entry’s for each tutor. • It shows each subject that the tutor can teach, any important information about the tutor and shows the evaluation and the working hours.

  8. Current Problems • No way to monitor tutor performance • Difficult to check on student performance • Inconsistent notes on students • Tutor scheduling/Assigning students • Knowledge about the student’s academics
