  7. Background Zaria Academy is a co-educational secondary institution established in September, 1998. The school is known for its academic excellence and moral discipline. The Academy possesses a fully automated and computerized school management system, an integrated website and e-learning facilities. These facilities have been set up to facilitate the quality and standard of education in the school. Within its thirteen years of existence, Zaria Academy has graduated seven(7) sets of students. Eachset of graduates performed excellently in their examinations (WASSCE AND NECO). A good number of these young people have since graduated from their various higher institutions while others are still studying in various universities in different countries of the world like Malaysia, Britain, UAE, United Kingdom, United States of America, Morocco, Nigeria e.t.c.

  11. Motto: Learning without Borders This motto demonstrates the school's vision of producing enviable future leaders for the betterment of the human society. Zaria Academy has established a cordial relationship with a sister school in Accra, Ghana since 2003 and the Nigeria French village in Badagry, Nigeria Arabic village in Gamboru- Ngala and other higher institutions in Malaysia. The school is also accredited as an instructor and examination center for the Cambridge University International Examinations for both Ordinary and Advance level (O’ Level & A’ Level) General Certificate Examinations.

  15. Location Administrative Block Zaria Academy is located at Shika, a town of 10 kilometer distance from Zaria City along Funtua road in Kaduna State of Nigeria. It shares boundary with the Ahmadu Bello University Hospital, Zaria. The school has a very large compound that permits all kinds of sporting activities and the utilization of the relevant sporting facilities that enable students excel in their educational, moral and physical development.

  31. UCMAS Programme Universal Concept Abacus & Mental Arithmetic System Nigeria Limited (UCMAS Nigeria) is the sole National Franchisee in Nigeria of the UCMAS BRAIN DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME FOR CHILDREN of the UCMAS Education Group, established in 1993 in Malaysia.

UCMAS Programme The UCMAS Mental programme is a brain development programme that stimulates the brain by teaching children to perform mental calculations quickly and accurately without the use of any electronic tool. Such that our students, typically aged 4 to 13, are guided to develop and use their mental faculties in varied disciplines more fully. The UCMAS Mental education programme builds the ability to solve mathematical problems in record time by visualizing the Abacus. The training will also lead to the development of the right brain as learners would be using their right brain to create an image memory while performing the calculations mentally. The UCMAS programme will help enhance memory, concentration, alertness and grasping power besides developing math skills in your child.

Credits OUR WASSCE RESULT ANALYSIS The West Africa Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) is a secondary school leaving certificate examination administered by the West Africa Examination Council (WAEC) and offered to candidates residing in Anglophonic West African Countries. This examination is compulsory for every final year student in the secondary school as it provides them with certificates of successful completion of their secondary education. This certificate includes student’s grade in the examination and enable them seek admission into higher institutions. This examination is equivalent to either the London or Cambridge General Certificate Examination.
