What is a threat to a bobcat? Today bobcats are threatened by humans as they are being trapped for their fur throughout most of their ranges. The greatest threat to this species is habitat loss. Bobcat kittens are prey to large owls, hawks, coyotes and foxes.
What is being done to help bobcats? Many organizations have been made to rescue bobcats to make sure they don’t get killed or extinct. For example the Big cat rescue saves 14 different kinds of cats in the wild. The Big cat rescues mission is to provide the best home and care for these different cats. This is also the largest sanctuary in the world dedicated to abandon cats.
