NEW EXHIBITIONS NAMM MUSIKMESSE RUSSIA ANDPROLIGHT+SOUND NAMM RUSSIA • Two brand new exhibition projects to be held in Russia, Moscow from 16th till 19th of May, 2012. • NAMM Musikmesse Russia will focus on the musical instrument sector. • Prolight + Sound NAMM show will concurrently represent event technology. • This combination that has been highly successful in Frankfurt.

  4. MUSIC POPULARITY IN RUSSIA • Music is extremely popular in Russia. It is explained by cultural diversity and lots of ethnic groups. Russian music includes the variety of styles: • From ritual folk song to sacred music of the Russian orthodox church • From classical music to modern pop-music • From soviet composers of 20th century music to operas • From jazz to extreme forms of heavy music

A good example is Gorky Park or Arkona. • As a result of great interest in music, the demand for music instruments and equipment is very high.
