  2. What is Polybutylene Terephthalate Granules (PBT)? Polybutylene Terephthalate is a semi-crystalline engineering thermoplastic. It shares similar properties and composition with polybutylene terephthalate granules. It belongs to the polyester family of PBT granules(VALOX 420SEO, VALOX DR51, VALOX 357X, VALOX FR 420SEO, VALOX RESIN DR51, VALOX 420etc). The polycondensation or polymethyl terephthalate of terephthalic acid with 1,4-butanediol is the process that produces PBT. Special catalysts are used. Due to its broad range of uses, PBT natural has attracted commercial attention.

  3. There are many grades of PBT that are ideal for injection molding. These are: Reinforced Filled Impact-modified and Flame-retardant Both unreinforced PBT and reinforced versions of flame-retardant Polybutylene Terephthalate are available.
