5. Immigrant (n.) Definition: a person who has come to live permanently in a country that is not their own Collocations: immigrant communities/families/workers E.g. Large numbers of illegal immigrants have found their way into the country recently. E.g. The majority of workers at the factory are recent immigrants. E.g. There has been a recent increase in the number of African immigrants.
