  11. Security The security situation in Israel is always a central factor in the planning and preparation for trips to Israel and 2013 is no different. While apprehension due to the recent conversations in the media is understandable, at this point we have received no special precautions or guidelines for 2013 from the Israel Defense Forces, the Israel Police and the Ministry of Education. The security framework of JCC Association, set within the most strict guidelines and regulations, is geared to respond promptly and efficiently to any precarious situation. This, in addition to the fact that things change and the situation is dynamic, makes our current position, in terms of 2013, clear: we are currently proceeding according to plans, keeping in mind that we are prepared to make any or all adjustments necessary to accommodate changes that are brought upon by the security situation. The recent talks surrounding the world crisis with Iran have received a great deal of media attention and we understand that this may be a source of concern. At this point we don't see a reason to change the preparations for the upcoming trips to Israel, however; we are continuing to monitor the situation closely. The safety and security of our participants is always our primary concern and is never compromised in any way. We remain committed to ensuring the safety of each and every one of the participants in our programs, and to keeping you and your participants families fully updated on any situation. If we feel at any time that we are not able to run a safe program we will not hesitate to make the necessary changes or cancel the program if need be. Sincerely, Leah Garber Vice President, JCC Association Israel Office Director
