  3. Using WEBCAT * Search by title, author, keyword, subject… * Search for reserve materials by course number, instructor… * Renew books, check for bills… * Make requests for ILL, make suggestions, ask questions…

  4. Book result list for “assistive technology” Result list shows: The number of books The call number of the books The location of the books The title and author of the books

  5. Checking the status of your “account” Anything listed in BLUE can be viewed Shown here, this patron has one item checked out, no bills, no item holds, and no requests or messages

  6. Searching for ARTICLES To use FirstSearch: To use Find Articles.com Click here and follow the links Click here To use EBSCOhost: Scroll down the page and click where it says “click here”

  7. FirstSearch Must have Authorization number 100-106-184 AND Password WILDCAT

  8. FirstSearch results for “assistive Technology” 1st Results are grouped by databases within a particular field chosen by the researcher The researcher must choose a database and then the results are listed accordingly 2nd

  9. EBSCOhost Must have a student or faculty/staff ID card The card has a 14-digit barcode number listed on the back side of the card Enter the numbers without using spaces or dashes in the space provided

  10. EBSCOhost results for “assistive technology” EBSCOhost has 13 distinct databases, many offering articles in full text Place a checkmark in the box next to the one(s) to be used Results are listed numerically Users can print, e-mail, or save records Corresponding Web Pages are also listed

  12. Internet Access A number of search engines and directories are listed under “internet resources” and then “search engines” Clicking on the icon brings the user to the desired search engine

  14. Assistance with APA formatting Numerous reference sites have links found under “internet resources” and then “reference links”

  15. Other libraries/government info Using the Delaware Union List of Serials, users can find which libraries in the state have copies of the journal they are seeking

  16. DULS Result List Shown here, these three libraries have copies for this title Also listed is which issues each library holds as well as previous titles for the journal
