What is Project ExSEL? $10,000 scholarships for UNCG juniors and seniors who pursue science degrees and teacher licensure $1,000 internship stipend for summer science education experience
What are the benefits of being an Noyce Scholar in Project ExSEL? • Pre-service experiences • Leadership opportunities • University mentors • Comprehensive science certification • Classroom support
What are the expectations of Noyce Scholars in Project ExSEL? • Pursue science degree • Pursue licensure in high school science teaching • Teach in a high-need school district for 2 years for each of scholarship received
