What is new for backward angle? • 499 MHz vs. 32 MHz • 80 uA (100 uA) vs. 40 uA • Lower energy 687 MeV & 360 MeV (vs. 3 GeV) • Superlattice (85%) vs. Strained (75%) photocathodes • Ti:Sap & Fiber laser options • PQB specs reduced ~2x <-> Asymmetries larger ~10x • PQB dominated by source setup and injector matching • G0 spectrometer reversed
Scheduling (intended accelerator schedule, but not yet firm) • Pre G0 Run • Accelerator down January-February 5 • G0 laser table setup • G0 injector matching setup • CASA G0 1-pass G0 setup • Hall B, then Hall A (using Hall C laser) run period 2/6-3/13 • Hall C nominally down until 3/14 • Best estimate for early beam delivery for checkout 3/1 • First Run Period (687 MeV, 1 pass, high Q2 measurement) • G0 accelerator commissioning 3/15 & 3/16 • G0 physics commissioning 3/17-4/2 (3 polarized expt’s) • G0 physics production run 4/7-5/1 (2 & 3 polarized expt’s) • Second Run Period (360 MeV, 1 pass, low Q2 measurement) • ~2 weeks later, start w/ ~2 days accelerator commissioning • Special accelerator setup, G0 run only 5/16-8/1 • Third (and final) Run Period (687 MeV, 1 pass, high Q2 measurement) • Begin ~9/22-12/22 (3 experiments)
Parity Quality Beam Specs • Dispersion at 3C12 35 mm/% and <1 mm/% at target. • Standard deviation of difference between adjacent samples (each 1/30th) • E.G, number of pairs in run, N = 15 per sec * 3600 sec/hr * 700 hr = 37.8 Msamples, and 20 mm/Sqrt(N) ~ 3 nm
