  3. Interesting Facts • Average human breathes over 3,000 gallons of air a day. • Children are more susceptible to air pollution. Why? • 70,000 die annually in the U.S. from air pollution. • It diminishes ozone and increases climate change (global warming).

  4. Opening Questions • What is air pollution? • Why is it such a problem for everyone? • How can it be stopped? • What factors make it hard to stop? • What is 1 harmful effect of air pollution?
