Austin CPMT chapter restarted in August after a recess for about two years New leadership has been formed Settled meeting plans Meeting schedules for third Thursday of every month Meeting place at MARC of UT Austin for 14th meeting, moved to Freescale for future meetings Speaker arrangements for technical meetings 14th technical presentation meeting was successfully held on Aug. 18 at Microelectronic Research Center of University of Texas, Austin with 13 attendance Chapter Updates

Chapter Plans / Issues • Three more technical presentations for this year in plan, confirmed with presenters • Contacting future speakers for the next year in tentative schedule • Effort for wider participation from more local industry companies and academia in technical presenters and audience • Looking for more collaboration with other chapters or joint meetings when possible with interdisplinary audience • Expense and financial support Seeking financial support from CPMT society for cost in reviving/maintaining old web site – on going Looking to utilize web space within the section from next year
