  3. نواتج التبادل CH3CL : أحادي كلور الميتان يستخدم في التبريد والتخدير CH2CL2 : ثنائي كلور الميتان يستخدم في التبريد والتخدير CHCL3: ثلاثي كلور الميتان ( الكلوروفورم ) يستخدم كمخدر في العمليات الجراحية (سابقاً) CCL4 : رباعي كلور الكربون يستخدم كمذيب وفي إطفاء الحريق(غير قابل للاحتراق)

  4. التبادل غير المباشر 1- اصطناع الميتانول بدءاً من بروم الميتيل CH3Br + KOH CH3OH + KBr 2- اصطناع فورتز : أ-اصطناع الإيثان بدءاً من يود الميتيل CH3I + 2Na + CH3I CH3-CH3 + 2NaI ب-اصطناع البروبان بدءاً من يود الميتيل CH3-CH2I + 2Na +CH3I CH3-CH2-CH3 + 2NaI
