  3. Augmenting Files • aug_hdfeos5 – tool provided by the HDF Group which adds HDF dimension scales to HDF-EOS5 files. This allows the file to be read with netCDF4.1 routines. • HIRDLS and MLS are currently augmenting their files. • If revise Guidelines with joint data products (later talk), might want to add to Aura Guidelines?
