Historical Background • The Institute of Technology and Vocational Education (ITVE) was founded on 27 February 1975 as a department under the Ministry of Education • His Majesty the King has renamed the institute. Rajamangala Institute of Technology (RIT) was granted on 15 September 1988 • The institute had gained high recognition for its educational quality for over 30 years. • RIT with its nation wide campuses became 9 Rajamangala Universities of Technology on 18 January 2005 • Original main campus was renamed Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi (RMUTT).

  4. Vision A University of Science and Technology Professions of International Standard Mission Statement 1. Provide tertiary education with focuses on developing science and technology professionals with quality and capacity essential for the career. 2. Undertake research, and facilitate inventions and innovations based on science and technology of which the results could be transferred to increase the national productivity and other value-added benefits. 3. Provide academic services to promote creation of jobs and competitive potentiality. 4. Take active participation in the preservation and nourishment of Thai arts, culture, religions, and the environment. 5. Serve as an academic center with good governance management and enhance good quality of individuals’ lives.

  5. Faculty of Engineering Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi

  6. Established  in  1975  with  its  former  name  was as “The Faculty of Engineering Technology”. • Consists of 10 academic departments offering • Bachelor  Degree in Engineering (B.Eng.) • Master Degree in Engineering (M. Eng.) • Three advanced research and training centers aiming at  providing  up–to–date knowledge for both students and industries.

  7. Aims 1. To offer  the  degrees  of  Bachelor  of  Engineering  (B.Eng.) and Master of Engineering (M.Eng.). 2. To deliver up-to-date  knowledge  to  students. 3. To produce  high-quality research and applied  research  in  engineering  fields. 4. To equip  RMUTT’s  staffs  including  officers  and  personnel  in  private sectors  with  up-to-date knowledge  and  skills.
