  3. Activity: Case Study Debrief & Key Points Review • In a large group, respond to questions posed by the facilitator by raising your hand as soon as you know the answer. • When you respond correctly, you will receive your certificate and “resources CD.” • As time permits, discuss responses.

  6. Program Goals • Based on best practices and OSHA requirements for emergency action planning, focus on a 4-step process and elements for handling emergencies in the workplace. 1. Get Started – Establish a Planning Team 2. Analyze Capabilities, Risks, and Vulnerabilities 3. Develop the Plan 4. Implement the Plan • Address types of emergencies, planning guidelines, and planning priorities.

  7. Activity: Progress on Learning Goal • Look at the learning goal you identifiedin the program introduction. Ask:Did I achieve my goal? Write a few notes about what you learned. • Learn how to create an emergency plan. • Obtain resources. • Protect employees, customers, business. • Evaluate an emergency plan. • Learn about what others are doing. • Other reasons • Set one new learning goal. • Share comments.
