  3. Idaho System for Educational Excellence Accomplishments • Broad data use • Funding • EdFACTS and all Federal reporting • ISAT • AYP and Star rating • Pay-for-Performance calculations • Data back into classroom based on student-teacher linkage • Schoolnet • 1:1 applications and rostering

Idaho System for Educational Excellence Updates for 2012-2013 • New attributes in the student course enrollment to assist in the Star rating calculations, fractional ADA, Pay-for-Performance • Special Education early childhood data (no longer a separate data load) • Special Education 60 day timeline data (also included in monthly upload) • Discipline and crime/violence tracking no longer a separate upload.

Idaho System for Educational Excellence Updates for 2012-2013 - continued • Working with all vendors for the updates to be incorporated by Fall deadlines. • New ‘calendar type’ added to accommodate dual enrollment. • A DR code, counted in hours or 1/10th of an hour, similar to an Alternative (A) calendar. With this we an track the students as they are enrolled in multiple schools and the total then adds to the total needed for a full day attendance. • http://www.sde.idaho.gov/site/isee/ (for all other details and templates)

Idaho System for Educational Excellence What to do about data quality • Systems configured to enforce policies and procedures • New system purchases should consider integration • Work with the various team - responsibility must be at the point of entry • Data stewardship should be imbedded in nearly everyone's job duties • Report accurately
