Points of Pride at Crossroads • Academic: Crossroads received an “A” from the state. Our MEAP scores are among the highest in the county. All students have the following core classes: math, language arts, social studies, and science. We also do a 45 minute class called “INSPIRE” where students work on writing skills. A nine-week computer class and a one semester Physical Education class are also required. • Extra-Curricular: Student Council, Art Club, Intra-murals, football, tennis, cross country running, basketball, swimming, wrestling, volleyball, track, cheerleading, talent show, jazz band, drama, weight training, and Fun and Fitness.
Some Suggestions: Purses and backpacks in locker www.edline.net You need to get to school and class on time-2 tardies, parents contacted Get involved in some type of activity HAVE FUN!! School dances
What to do when you are sick: • If you are feeling sick, you MUST first come to the Guidance Office where Mrs. Duba will assist you. • Do not call from any other phones, as this creates confusion about parents picking up students.
What to do if your child takes medication at school: Prescription Medication: must have physician permission slip in Guidance Office. Non-prescription Medication: may be sent with your student but must be locked in the Guidance Office. All medications must be administered by Mrs. Duba.

If your ringer goes off, you lose your phone for the day. • You are allowed to have any of these during lunch!!!
Academic Support • Talk to your teacher if you are falling behind. Check edline. • Attend Homework Club on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2:30-3:30. Bus transportation is provided for your ride home if you live in the district (bus pass given to you during Homework Club by the teacher).
