This is a great way to learn how to be a responsible digital citizen. We are also learning how to communicate within a community. Your child can show you how to access our class blog. *We have begun using the iPads in our classroom. Stay tuned for a list of apps we use in the classroom that may be great for home use as well. *Please let me know if you would like to come in and read a book to our class. Language Arts : Theme 3: “Changing Times”. *Make sure to look at the Weekly study guides that are sent home to see what we are learning in Language Arts. Math: Unit 6 Mixed Addition and Subtraction Stories *See the family letter and homelinksto see what we are learning in math. Please continue to practice addition and subtraction facts. Social Studies *Social Studies: Hero Reports Due: 2/25 Science: We will begin our unit on Dinosaurs and Changes on Earth. This unit includes: Pangea, landforms, layers of the Earth, and volcanoes. February 3-7: Jump Rope for Heart during PE class February 13: Class Valentine’s Celebration February 14 – 17: No School February 18: Conferences February 25: Science Fair 6pm – 8pm Birthdays: Taylor-9th Mia-25th
