  2. Ligament Injury – Anterior Cruciate Ligament Rupture • ACL and PCL (posterior cruciate ligament) • stabilize knee joint • Intra-articular structures • Ruptured ACL – most common stifle injury and leads to DJD • May be complete rupture or partial tear => unstable joint => DJD
