KEY MILESTONES YoungShip Cyprus • Founded in Bergen (2004), • Currently, more than 2.500 individual members in Oslo, Møre, Haugesund, Stavanger, Kristiansand, Singapore and Brazil (Rio). • Sister organizations in Greece, New York, London, Australia and Hong Kong are inspired by the YoungShip concept. • YoungShip Cyprus was launched after the latest Cyprus Maritime (October 2011).

  3. AIMS • Independent, politically neutral organization consisting of local branches working independently. • Competence and network enhancing arena / promote the young professionals in the global maritime industry.  • Develop the young generations´ knowledge and interest for environmental developments, innovation and entrepreneurship.

  4. VALUES • Developing the industry by promoting shipping to young generation • Developing of skills and attracting professionals from all areas • Teamwork (common set of clearly defined objectives)

  5. VISION Promote competence and network development, and promote young professionals in the global maritime industry

  6. WHY CYPRUS? • A large number of ship owning, management, brokering, agents & suppliers companies are already well established here, which would provide a substantial pool of highly qualified and experienced people from the industry Sharing of ideas and experience
