Graded Unit 2 Project • Develop learner competencies • Provide a basis for future career and personal development • Adopt an innovative and creative approach to their work and be able to respond quickly to the challenges posed by changes in the business environment • Enable learners to consider and revisit core business issues and develop a depth of understanding from a managerial perspective

  3. Graded Unit 2 Project • Further develop organisational and investigative skills • Promote the development of transferable skills in planning, organising and evaluation • Promote advanced level of entry to further academic or professional qualification • Develop underpinning knowledge

Workshop Materials • Grade A and C – Project Planning Stage • Grade A and C – Project Evaluating Stage • Blank marking sheets for the Planning Stage and the Evaluating Stage • Completed marking sheets and a rationale for the Planning Stage and the Evaluating Stage • A full set of marks for all three project stages for the A and C projects

  5. Workshop Instructions • Study the part of the project provided. Using the marking guidance and a blank marking sheet, mark the response provided • As a group decide upon a mark for each section and a final total mark for the response you have marked • Indicate your marks to the presenters • The presenters will take you through the marked responses and the marking rationale for each response

  6. Internal and external verification • The importance of consistency and standardisation, and standards • Internal Verification • Discussing and agreeing • Recording problems • Recording good practice • Recording ideas • The link with External Verification
