The wellbeing of horses is something that is very important to Kathleen Gerenger. Kathleen Gerenger is a horse lover, who spends much of her time rescuing retired horses who would otherwise be sent to slaughter when their racing years are through. Kathleen Gerenger sees these horses as worth protecting, and even has one who she competes with in equestrian events: Gamble. Gamble and Kathleen Gerenger show through their athletic prowess that retired racehorses deserve a second chance and should be protected.

  2. A Graduate of Villanova University: Kathleen Gerenger Kathleen Gerenger’s career as an accountant started with her education from Villanova University. After completing her undergraduate career at Villanova, Kathleen Gerenger graduated with a BS in Accounting. She also graduated with honors. Today, Kathleen Gerenger looks back fondly at her time at Villanova. Kathleen Gerenger is very active in Villanova’s alumni community. As a member of the Villanova Alumni Association, Kathleen Gerenger takes part in its charitable programs for local food banks, soup kitchens, and food drives.

  3. Kathleen Gerenger: A Professional Accountant Most people know Kathleen Gerenger for her skill as an accountant. Kathleen Gerenger has worked as an accountant for many years, from the time she earned a BS in Accounting, graduating with honors from Villanova University. Following graduation, Kathleen Gerenger became a CPA in Pennsylvania. Since then, Kathleen Gerenger has worked as a CPA for a variety of companies in Pennsylvania, New York and Florida. Kathleen Gerenger has worked with Arthur Anderson & Co., O’Brien Environmental Energy, and Genesee Valley Nurseries, Inc.

  4. Kathleen Gerenger: Animal Lover Kathleen Gerenger believes that one measure of a society is the compassion that it shows towards animals. For animals such as racehorses and greyhounds, their value is often considered to be in their ability to race, and when they can no longer race, they may be killed. Kathleen Gerenger supports the quality of life of animals who can no longer race. Kathleen Gerenger volunteers for the Thoroughbred Retirement Foundation of New York to rescue and rehabilitate racehorses whose careers have ended.
