WP1 & WP8 – What is it about WP1 Management • Communication to EACI, including • Reporting • Financial management • Internal organisation (project meetings) and communication • Links to other projects and organisations • Monitoring and evaluation of progress WP8 IEE dissemination activities • Standard work package • Contribute, upon request of EACI, to dissemination activities BioGrace-II Kick-off meeting Brussels, 14 and 15 May, 2012

WP1 & WP8 – Deliverables to be met WP1 Management • D1.1 Final publishable result oriented report • Other products (minutes of meetings, interim reports) are no deliverables WP8 IEE dissemination activities • D8.1 Set of updated IEE performance indicators including their baseline and assumptions for extrapolation – Month 3 • Other products (project sheets, project summary) are no deliverables BioGrace-II Kick-off meeting Brussels, 14 and 15 May, 2012

WP1 Management Prepayment • Prepayment will be made in coming weeks - EACI has made payment to ANL - ANL will distribute to partners - One form is needed – mail is send today –respond ASAP ! • 30% of budget • No bank guarantees needed Reporting • 4 reports are needed, every 9 months(techn. progress report, interim, techn. progress, final) • ANL will prepare report with input from partners BioGrace-II Kick-off meeting Brussels, 14 and 15 May, 2012

  5. WP1 Management Communication • WP leaders decide on how to communicate (mail, phone, teleconference, meetings) • Extra travels (as compared to the Annex I) should be justified and get approval of EACI project officer • All communication to EACI via coordinator Inclusion of organisations that are no partner • Some institutions are important for our project but no partner: - EURELECTRIC - CWAPE - DECC • We will include them and need to discuss details • Depends on binding/non-binding criteria BioGrace-II Kick-off meeting Brussels, 14 and 15 May, 2012

WP1 Management E-mails • Experience: amount of e-mails can be large in EU project • If needed: some rules • Coordinator has two e-mail groups: (1) all persons involved and (2) one contact person per partner • Group with one contact person per partner: - AEBIOM : Jean-Marc - BE2020 : Dina - BIO IS : Perrine - IFEU : Horst - STEM : Anders - VREG : Jimmy Let me know if the contact person should be changed BioGrace-II Kick-off meeting Brussels, 14 and 15 May, 2012

WP1 Management General issues • Look after consistent terminology • Within BioGrace (for biofuels) distinction between - BioGrace GHG calculation tool (= Excel + rules + manual) - BioGrace Excel tool • Proposal: - BioGrace GHG calculation tool for biofuels - BioGrace Excel tool for biofuels - BioGrace Excel tool for electricity and heat - (possibly:) BioGrace GHG calculation tool for el. and heat BioGrace-II Kick-off meeting Brussels, 14 and 15 May, 2012
