Work Programme • Gaelic Games Programme to promote participation within clubs, schools and Community (utilising the Underage Strategic Plan) • Assist clubs with development of human and physical infrastructure • CityStrategic Plan (and assist clubs with individual business plans) • Work in conjunction with City Games Promotion Officer (Kevin Kelly) and County Games Promotion Officer (Richard Ferris) to promote Coach Education, within the designated clubs and schools

Role and Function of Post • Ulster Council Strategy, 2002-2006 • Underage Strategic Plan • GAA Strategic Review The priority for the post is within the designated Urban area of Derry City Council and will include the following six clubs: • Na Magha • Steelstown • Piarsaigh Doire Trasna • Doire Colmcille • Sean Dolan’s • Ardmore

  18. Neighbourhood Renewal and GAA Clubs Has an urban based GAA club got a contribution to play in; Q1 : Develop and strengthen community infrastructure to improve the capacity of communities ? Q2 : Promote volunteering and active citizenship in the most deprived communities ? Q3 : Improve the health of people living in the most deprived neighbourhoods ? Q4 : Develop or improve community sports facilities ?
