  4. HOPWA Program Purpose To provide states and localities with the resources and incentives to devise long-term comprehensive strategies for meeting the housing and related supportive service needs of low-income persons with HIV/AIDS. 2005 HOPWA Grant Competition

  5. HOPWA Client Outcomes HOPWA resources are used to assist low-income persons living with HIV/AIDS and their families establish or maintain stable housing, reduce their risks of homelessness and improve their access to healthcare and other support. 2005 HOPWA Grant Competition

  6. 2005 Available Funding • Formula Grants in 122 St/local: $251 million • National Technical Assistance: $2 million • This Competition: $37 million (includes $9 million in FY2004) 2005 HOPWA Grant Competition
