  2. Southendsea front allows me to depict what life would've been like at sea for the diver, creating an authentic location for the audience to understand. I have chosen the Portsmouth location to accurately represent the royal Navy as the Navy ships and base are located there.   3. Costume & Props Through the costumes I am going to represent a Navy Diver, ensuring that they are accurately represented through the outfit and equipment. The use of the props such as the gas tank is to highlight the key features of a diver and the skills that are required, such as ensuring that a Gas tank is applied properly and being used correctly to ensure safety. The use of accurate props to portray the diver allows a sense of realism for the audience to correctly understand what life was like as a Royal Navy Diver.
