Metrocom Youth Association Presents 8th Annual Youth Football and Cheer Camp Sunday April 17, 2011, 1PM to 6 PM Metrocom Youth Association (MYA), a non-profit organization, is sponsoring a one-day football and cheerleading camp at the brand new D.W. Rutledge Stadium for youth ages 5-14. The camp is designed as a fun day of football and cheerleading and to allow children to learn various skills from a group of experienced youth coaches who have won many TYFA Football and Cheer State Championships during the past four seasons. It is also a thrilling opportunity to play at one of the most historic and best-known facilities in Texas High School Football History. Your child will receive high-quality instruction. Our football coaching staff has produced the best five year over all record in TYFA that includes 253- wins While suffering only 35 loses with seven State Championships and eight Runner ups. Our cheer staff has produced 11 State titles! Camp will take place rain or shine. This is a non-contact camp. Please wear shorts and T-shirts. Football campers are encouraged to wear cleats. Non-metal baseball or soccer cleats will work if you do not have football cleats. Sneakers will work for cheerleaders and for football players who do not have cleats. D.W. Rutledge Stadium 900 S. Please report to field between 11:30 – 12:30 to check in. Walk-ups will be welcomed if spots are still available. NO REFUNDS. You can also purchase a camp T-shirt for an additional $10.
