Getting your basic license • Good for 4 years • Minimum age 18 (permit 16) • Permit fee $10 • License fee $24 • Test Required • Knowledge • Vision • Road

GDL Driver Exemptions • For the hour rule for permit or provisional drivers: • Proof of a need to drive for employment or religion • Note: if student driver commits a traffic offense, driver and supervisor are responsible • Provisional up grade to basic (12 months)
