  3. IDN vs “Classic” 3 .РФ is one of the largest IDN TLD in the world: 813 400 domain names (for September 1, 2013) The main problem Lack of support of cyrillic domains by the largest main services: it’s impossible to send a letter for an email address such as following имя@домен.рф

  4. New Cyrillic IDNs 4 We need a fully functional e-mail!!! And other IDNs:

Universal IDN acceptance 5 E-mail functions of the IDN-domains are not in demand so it’s too early to speak about cyrillic e-mail support AGAINST: Russian is the second popular language in the world .РФ Domain exists for more than 3 years and it’s compatible with existing ccTLD on growth speed FOR: In the nearest future the following top level domains will appear: .РУС, .МОСКВА (“Moscow”), .ДЕТИ (“children”), .ОНЛАЙН (“online”), .САЙТ (“site”) etc.
