All of you will know what a global footprint is Most of you will calculate your global footprint and suggest how it could be reduced Some of you will compare your global footprint to other people’s around the world
Global Footprint … How much land, sea and atmosphere it takes to support your lifestyle. It is measured in global hectares or planets. How much productive land we need to feed us (crops/grazing) How much energy, water and materials we use How much land we need to absorb our waste How much productive sea and freshwater we use to feed us How many emissions we produce
