Background • Collaboration between Uganda, Mozambique and South Africa is the start of a network • Seminar meant to inform the network and its issues/projects • At the same time, success may be dependent on the network • No disagreement that network will have a full agenda • Approach taken is similar to how networks started in other parts • Informal network has already been established

  3. Next steps • Invite delegates to present idea to their principals back home • Commitment to network must be clear and formalised • Some financial contribution eg. airfare • A person in each ministry or treasury • Intention is to have a Pan African network • Initial proposal will be drafted by Uganda, Mozambique and SA • Views will be requested and will inform final proposal
