Characters • Sniff- who sniffs out change early • Scurry- who scurries into action • Hem- who denies and resists change as he fears it will lead to something worse • Haw- who learns to adapt in time when he sees changing can lead to something better Who do you think you are?
What does the cheese represent? • Something that you think you need to be happy • One example is wanting material things • Another example is enjoying good health or developing a spiritual sense of well-being
Strategies for successful change • Change Happens- They keep moving with the cheese. The more important your cheese is to you the more you want to hold onto it. You need to be flexible and understand change happens. • Anticipate Change- Get ready for the cheese to more. Having your cheese makes you happy so be aware of when change is coming so you can adapt to the new situation.
Monitor Change- Smell the cheese often so you know when it is getting old. Stay alert and expect change to happen and look for it. Trust your instincts to sense change and be ready to adapt to it. • Adapt to Change Quickly- The quicker you let go of old cheese, the sooner you can enjoy new cheese. If you do not change you become extinct. • Change- Move with the cheese. Movement in a new direction will help you find your new cheese.
Enjoy Change- Savor the adventure and enjoy the taste of new cheese. When you see that you can find and enjoy new cheese you change your course. • Be Ready to Change Quickly and Enjoy it Again and Again- They keep moving the cheese. If you notice small changes early it help you adapt to the bigger changes that are to come. Move with the cheese and enjoy it!
