  1. Brain Tumour – Diagnosis and Treatment

  2. A brain tumour is the brain's collection or mass of abnormal cells. It is best to get diagnosed early since effective treatment can be provided. Symptoms The common presentations of brain tumours involve ✅ Vomiting ✅Headache ✅ Unconsciousness ✅ Giddiness ✅ Sometimes seizures ✅ Gait disturbance

  3. Brain Tumour Diagnosis If you notice any of these symptoms, you must visit a hospital with provisions for a CT scan and MRI. These modalities are used to diagnose or rule out a brain tumour. These scans can help identify the lesions, where they are present, the pathology, and the adjacent structures. Based on these factors, the modality of the treatment is decided. Brain Tumour Treatment Not all brain cancers are critical. There are cancerous tumours and non-cancerous tumours. There are superficial tumours and deep structure associated tumours.

  4. ✅ Non-cancerous tumours can be removed by surgery, and the condition completely cured. If it is a malignant tumour, the placement of the tumour is the most important factor. There are some areas in the brain called eloquent areas. When the tumour is present in these areas, the surgery should be done carefully using magnification cameras. Skull-based tumours can be removed using endoscopic assisted treatments. ✅ A high magnification microscope is a critical component required for diagnosing brain tumours, and this helps set the normal brain tissues apart from the abnormal brain tissues. With the help of neuro navigation and interoperating neuromonitoring, neurologist doctors avoid the important neural and vascular structures.

  5. ✅ It is also possible to find the origin of the tumour using symptoms presented by the patient. For example, if the tumour is present on the left side of the brain, it might affect the motor operations on the right side of the body. If the 8th cranial nerve is affected by a tumour, the patient might present with hearing problems.
