  1. How to Reduce the Risk of Breast Cancer?

  2. The occurrence of breast cancer is on the rise, and it is gradually noted in the younger age groups of 30-40. It is possible to reduce the risk of breast cancer by making some lifestyle alterations.

  3. Ways to Reduce Breast Cancer Diet: Some fatty foods can increase the number of fatty tissues in our body. Unhealthy food habits and obesity are the most common risk factors for breast cancer. Fatty tissues produce estrogen, which acts on the breast tissues and increases the number of unhealthy tissues. This can increase the risk of breast cancer, and hence it becomes important to eat healthy, exercise, and maintain a proper BMI. Smoking and Alcohol:Smoking and alcohol consumption can cause cancer in any part of the body and including the breasts. Alcohol consumption in moderation or total avoidance of the habit is best. Nicotine in tobacco can cause direct damage to the tubes in the breasts, known as ducts, and this can release toxins that later lead to breast cancer.

  4. Vitamin D:There has been evidence that low vitamin D levels can increase the risk of breast cancer. Vitamin D is produced in our bodies due to exposure to sunlight. But most women have low levels of vitamin D in their bodies, which can cause abnormal changes in our bodies. It may not be cancerous at first, but it can lead to breast cancer with time. Hence check your vitamin D levels and get supplements or enough sunlight exposure if low.
