SchoolDude ArbiterGame Integration. FSDirect – Locations. FSDirect’s Locations are the same as ArbiterGame’s Sites You can add a new location to your list on either the right at the top of the list or the bottom left of the list. FSDirect – Add/Update Location.

FSDirect – Locations • FSDirect’s Locations are the same as ArbiterGame’s Sites • You can add a new location to your list on either the right at the top of the list or the bottom left of the list.
FSDirect – Add/Update Location • With Adding a new location to your list you are only required to have the Location Description • The Location Description is the same as the Location’s Name or the Site Name for ArbiterGame. • The Location Code will be auto-generated if you do not enter one in • Once you click Submit it will be added to your list of Locations
FSDirect - Rooms • In the Actions bar, click the List option and select Rooms • You will be brought to your list of Rooms, like Locations you can add rooms at the top right of the list or the bottom left of the list. • FSDirect Rooms are the same as ArbiterGame’sSubsites.
FSDirect – Add/Update Room • When adding a new room, you have to have the location created first and it will be available for you to choose from your Location drop down • The Room Name is the same as ArbiterGame’sSubsite name. • The only required items for this page are Location and Room Name
SchoolDude – “Thumbs Up” • In SchoolDude the indicator for a FSDirect and a Trip Direct Location to be used by ArbiterGame is a “Thumbs Up” or a “Thumbs Down” • In both FSDirect and Trip Direct the Locations Pages will give you the option to click the Thumb Up or Thumb Down a location
Trip Direct Setup • Switch over to your Trip Direct account by clicking the Go To drop down and clicking the TripDirect option • On the Right hand side of the screen under the Information Analysis section click on the Locations link.
Trip Direct – Locations • While FSDirect’s Locations do carry over to Trip Direct, you will still need to Thumb Up them to be able to use them with ArbiterGame.
Trip Direct - Users • To ensure Trip Requests from ArbiterGame are sent over to SchoolDude’sTripDirect Application you will need to make sure that all of the Schools in your District that you are over have those responsible added to your TripDirect account as at least a Requestor. • If the ArbiterGame users are not set up in Trip Direct the Transportation Requests will not be added to TripDirect.
Trip Direct – Add New Users • To add a new user to your Trip Direct account click on the Account Setup tab. • Then click the TripDirect Users link.
Trip Direct – Add New Users Cont. • You will then be given your User list, at the top in the shortcuts click the Add New User selection. • Then Click the New User button to add a brand new user.
Trip Direct – Add New Users Cont. • You will then be told to Define the New User’s role. If you only want them to Request Trips set them as a Requester and hit the Next Step button. • You will then be required to enter in First Name, Last Name and Email for the New User and can then hit the Save/Next Step button.
ConnectArbiter Setup • Now that your FSDirect Locations/Rooms and Trip Direct Locations are set up, click on the drop down in the Upper Right hand corner and select the option “ConnectArbiter”. (It should be second in the drop down if your account is set up for it) • You will be put on your Home tab with the Data Transfer Log open, this will be the place that you can pull Errors from to see why a Facility Request or Trip Request failed on being added to your SchoolDude account. • First we will need to “Thumb Up” your Facility Locations and Rooms so that they can be sent over to ArbiterGame
Connect Arbiter – Facility Locations • On the right hand side there is an Information & Analysis column, you will click the Facility Locations link and be taken to your Locations List • By default all locations will be set in the Thumbs Down, we will need to mark them as Thumbs Up by clicking on the Thumb Down to allow that site to be sent over to ArbiterGame.
Connect Arbiter – Facility Rooms • Now that your Facility Locations (Sites) have been given the “Thumbs Up” you will need to do the same for the Facility Rooms (Subsites). • In the Action Section Click on the List option and select the Facility Rooms option. It will then take you to your Facility Rooms list. Where you will Thumb Up any Rooms (Subsites) that the schools in your district will need to be able to map their ArbiterGame account to.
ArbiterGame Mapping Setup • With the SchoolDude side of things set up the Schools can begin setting up the mappings to the SchoolDude account once they have received confirmation from Tier 2 Support. • Once the school’s have received confirmation from Tier 2 Support they will Sign into their ArbiterGame Account and click the Settings Tab, SchoolDude Sub Tab. They will also see that the FSDirect and TripDirect options are set to Yes in the Licensed column.
ArbiterGame- Site Mapping • To map your ArbiterGame Site to your SchoolDude Location you will click the Map button and it will display a drop down selection for you to choose from. **You will only see Locations in this list that have been given the “Thumbs Up” in the ArbiterConnect application on SchoolDude** • You will need to select your school and click the Green Save button. • Once you have saved the ArbiterGameSubsite section will allow you to map it.
ArbiterGame – Subsite Mapping • Now that you have the school’s site mapped you can map ArbiterGameSubsites to SchoolDude’s Rooms by clicking the Map buttons. **You will only see Rooms in this list that have been given the “Thumbs Up” in the ArbiterConnect application on SchoolDude ** • If a Room is not in the list, but has been given the “Thumbs Up” on the ArbiterConnectapplication please allow ArbiterGame up to 10 minutes to refresh and get the new list of Rooms available. Please note this is usually only the case when the account is being set up initially, most Locations/Rooms are already in use on SchoolDude and will not apply to this rule. • If you map all of your Subsites to Rooms, but are still missing Rooms after the 10 minute period the school will need to get in contact with their facility director/SchoolDude admin to have the room added and given the “Thumbs Up”
Facility Requests – ArbiterGame • A Facility Request is sent over to FSDirect when the game is modified and the Facility Request has something changed on it or a new game with a Facility request is created. • School’s can check that the Facility Request has been sent to SchoolDude by clicking on the Facility Icon on the schedule page in ArbiterGame. • Facility Requests that made it over to SchoolDude will be shown with the SchoolDude Logo, the date the request was sent, the Schedule ID, and the status of the Facility Request.
Facility Requests - ArbiterGame • Once the Facility Request has been through the process of Approving and Activating through SchoolDude, the Facility Request icon will go Green and the Status will update to Activated. • If any information on a Facility Request is changed and an existing Facility Request has been sent over to SchoolDude. If the existing Facility Request has been Approved it will be CANCELLED and a new Facility Request will be sent over with a new ScheduleID. If the existing Facility Request has not been Approved it will UPDATE the initial request.
Facility Requests – FSDirect • Facility Requests that come over from ArbiterGame are in the format of [Sport],[Gender] [Level] and can be found on the Schedule page of FSDirect under the Submitted section.
Transportation Requests - ArbiterGame • A Transportation Request is sent over to Trip Direct when the game is modified and the Transportation Request has something changed on it or a new game with a Transportation request is created. • School’s can check that the Transportation Request has been sent to SchoolDude by clicking on the Transportation Icon on the schedule page in ArbiterGame. • Transportation Requests that made it over to SchoolDude will be shown with the SchoolDude Logo, the date the request was sent, the Trip ID, and the status of the Trip Request. • A Transportation Request requires at least one form of transportation selected to send to SchoolDude. If no transportation is selected, the Transportation Icon will show as Red.
Transportation Requests - ArbiterGame • Once the Transportation Request has been through the process of Approving and Activating through SchoolDude,the Transportation Request icon on the game will go Green and the Status will update to Activated. • If any information on a Transportation Request is changed and an existing Transportation Request has been sent over to SchoolDude. Trouble Shooting – ConnectArbiter • If you are unable to get a Trip Request or Schedule Request over to SchoolDude you can Check your Data Transfer Log in the ConnectArbiter Application on SchoolDude. • An Error is indicated by a red circle with a white exclamation point (!) in it and is in the Error column. **This portion of support should be handled by SchoolDude, but they may ask us for input on why the error was received**
Understanding an Error – ConnectArbiter • By clicking on the View Detail link next to a Schedule or Trip that has an Error you will be given a modal with an Error Message box. You will want to locate the section of the message that has the tags of <message> </message> • This will give you more information on why the Trip or Schedule did not import correctly. • In this instance the Error was thrown because the Trip return was earlier that the Trip Depart time.**This portion of support should be handled by SchoolDude, but they may ask us for input on why the error was received**
