  1. School Opening Liturgy All present and past employees of Edmonton Catholic School District are invited to the School Opening Mass on Thursday, August 30, 2012 at the Winspear Centre. Doors open at 8:00 a.m. We will begin at 8:45 a.m. This year’s theme: “Life of Grace: Ministry of Hope” Bishop David Motiuk will celebrate a Divine Liturgy in English. To volunteer to be an usher, contact Dan Alba: daniel.alba@ecsd.net To volunteer for the choir, contact Melanie Turgeon: melanie.turgeon@kingsu.caAn additional choir practice will be held in late August. You are invited to sit on the main floor of the Winspear if you wish to receive communion in the Eastern Tradition. A collection, prior to the liturgy, will be taken up for Camp Oselia, Our Lady of Victories Camp, and Camp St. Basil. A viewing room will be available for those with allergies to incense.
