How DLA Will Buy In The FutureEProcurement • E-Procurement will integrate procurement functional capabilities and result in an enterprise-wide contracting system • Supports the assumption of the Depot Level Reparable contracting function • Incremental deployment tentatively planned for FY09 through FY12 • No impacts are anticipated to DLA’s suppliers • Minor enhancements to DIBBs to include a Post Award Request (PAR) processing that will allow vendors to submit PARS (modification requests, etc) via DIBBS which will be routed to E-Procurement

Common Solicitation Types at DLA Supply Centers • Request for Quotations - Under $100,000 • Most common type - Average award is <$4,000 • Generally quoted directly on our web site • 30 - 35% are awarded without human intervention • Request For Proposals (RFPs) - over $100,000 • Solicitation must be filled in by hand and returned to • DSCC by a specific time and date • Proposals may be negotiated
