  2. The Mathematic Standards • They tell us where each student is expected to be in their numeracy and learning by the end of each year of schooling.

  3. The Mathematics Standards • We have taken that information and matched it to our achievement data at Waiuku Primary School

  4. Why should we have them? • they give teachers, children, parents, families and whānau a clear idea of what children need to learn • they show where they are at in their numeracy and mathematics learning

  5. How will they help my child? • when everyone understands where they are at... • then everyone can be clear about how to best support their learning – both at home and at school
