Late eightiesgavethe band a new record deal and theypresented the two albums "Don Patrol" and quicklysequel, "A Wire A Deal And The Devil", bothvoted for ”Album Of The Week” in Germany and the reviews of the band'stiles and live performance waslyrical. Press wrote that this is onlycan be compared to greats as Deep Purple and Led Zeppelin and leadsinger Dille Diedricson was height to the skies as one of Europe'sleading singers as theyalsohailedthem as an exceptionally tight live band. Manager Thomas Engstrom- who worked with the band sinceitsinception - got a phonecall in 1989 where the band with oneday'snoticewasoffered to play main support to former Van Halen ex-singer David Lee Roth´s show at The Globe Arena in Stockholm. It became the signal to a somewhatsurprisingturn for the band. Right after the band'sappearance strides Mr Lee Roth aheadinto the boys' dressing room and says, "... I want you guys come along with me for the wholeentire European Tour as ”Special Guets"! Whenis that? - ... Well, I thinkit'sGermanytomorrow! - onemonths later Don Patrolhaddone 25 shows in 30 days in 11 countries! After this hugebreakthrough with theirtwo albums in a short time early 90s, touring with David Lee Roth hadone of the albums produced by Charlie Midnight (James Brown, Doobie Brothers, Joe Cocker, etc.) and "Best Album Of The Week" in Germany it tookoutthrough a bit of "Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young fighting in the dressing room "...and theyseparatedagain…now for a longlong time… ...BACK ON THE BENCH Nowthey`re back as old friends - leadsinger Dille Diedricson and guitarplayer Peter Nordholm with the twoother original members, Henkan Thomsen and Imre Daun.
