CHIME – Columbia Hypermedia IMmersion Environment • CHIME is a collaborative virtual environment designed to connect to any collection of backend data sources and immerse users in a 3D depiction of those sources. • Multiple, heterogeneous data sources can be represented in a homogenous environment. • Users walk around the 3D world (representing the infospace) and interact with each other and with its data contents.
