  2. T h e m a k i n g o fSamhain • SAMHAIN The Making Ofshowcases the great work done by STEAMBOT Studios on their first Art book. The collective will demonstrate their imagination, experience and production skills throughout the book and DVD (Included), about this fake TV show; SAMHAIN. • The book will feature concept design, digital paintings and sketches, sculptures, storyboards, matte-paintings, 3d models, animated sequences and also plenty of videos. It will also provide artist bios, interviews, as well as cool step-by-step technical elements with clear explanations describing the tests, post-production effects and experiments of the team.

  3. Synopsis A Science Fiction space opera mixed with the theme of Halloween. Mission: SAMHAIN is an original vision of the future, a critic of actual political systems and a reflection on Human kind. The book will explore many worlds with different degrees of technology, from Earth to Mars via the Moon, and the whole preparation of the mission to the Halloween planet...

  15. A different philosophy S a m h a i nis the word for November in Irish and Scottish Gaelic. The same word was used for the first month of the ancient Celtic calendar, and in particular the first three nights of this month, the festival marking the beginning of the winter season. Elements of the festival are continued in the traditions of All Souls Day and Halloween. The name is also used for one of the sabbats in the Neo-Pagan wheel of the year.
