Rules to follow when reading a paper: 1) What is it about? • Title and abstract 2) What are the specific aims?
3) Methods /Data/ Analyses 4) Read tables / figures 5) Conclusions
Quality of data / misclassification-differential • Responders / non-responders-selection bias • Selection of confounders/ adjustments
Do you agree with the conclusion? • If not write a letter to the editor
