CNO Primary Responsibilities Teach members how to access YPO product and services: • Businesses more successful • Personal lives healthier • YPO experience more fulfilling
What Are The CNO’s Products? Member Networks (Business, Personal, Social Enterprise) M2Mx (Profile/Access) Member Integration Programs (NMSO, Taste of YPO, Vouchers) MyYPO.org (Adv. Search, Marketplace, Network Navigator)
CNO GoalsTo connect members at three levels of the organization: • To maximize each members YPO experience • To create individualized opportunities for each member
What does the CNO do? • Plug members into YPO • Member Networks, M2Mx, YPOI Events, Marketplace, etc. • Improve Chapter & Regional Health Standards • “Going for Gold!” • Work with your board • To create networking activities during chapter meetings • Work with your Regional Network Officer and YPOI • To support regional networking opportunities and share best practices • Sign up / Show up / Be engaged • Lead by example – show people how to access YPO Products and Services!
CNO Support for Member Integration AT THE CHAPTER LEVEL – • New Member & Spouse Orientation (NMSO) program ($$) • Lunch/ Dine-arounds AT THE REGIONAL / INTERNATIONAL LEVEL- • Taste of YPO • New member voucher usage
Measuring SuccessYour Role in “Going for Gold” Chapter Health Standards: Designed to promote an understanding of key performance activities among chapters, encouraging each chapter to excel towards clear and higher levels in all functional areas CNOs Role: • % completion of YPO and M2Mx Profiles • % of members who have participated in a YPO International event • % of members enrolled in a Business, Personal or Social Enterprise Network
Connecting Members at theChapter Level • Ensure all members complete their MyYPO & M2Mx profiles on the website • Work with Education officer to create networking opportunities at chapter events (the last ‘E’ in the E-CODE stands for strengthening member-to-member connections) • Have members use & post products & services on YPO Marketplace • Conduct Global Lunch Around program to familiarize chapter members with one another • Follow up on the progress of the chapter CNO Metrics (data supplied by YPOI) • Work with Forum officer to conduct effective chapter New Member & Spouse Orientation programs • Identify networking successes in the chapter and report to YPOI CNO Support management team
Connecting Members at theRegional Level • Encourage members to build connections with members in the region through the profile search and Network • Every new chapter member must be encouraged to attend the Regional Taste of YPO program
Connecting Members at theInternational Level • Every member should be encouraged to join at least one Business, Personal or Social Enterprise Network depending upon his/her interest • Ensure that all members experience an International event and use their new member $1500 voucher • Members should be encouraged to experience Global Conference Calls with top YPO resources at no cost • Encourage members to meet members and attend events during their travels
Other CNO Responsibilities • Ensure there is a CNO succession plan in the chapter • Attend GLC training • Participate in CNO/RNO Global webex calls • Participate in regional RNO/CNO conference calls
CNO Communications & Support • Monthly CNO Update / Metrics • Global CNO / RNO webex conference calls • Next call Sept. 17, 10 pm CST / Sept. 18, 10 am CST • Regional conference calls with RNO • CNO Dashboard One-page handouts for chapter meetings, Best Practices, CNO Calendar, 300 second presentations & more! • GLC Training • Dedicated YPOI Management Team
