Action carried out • Preparation of the basic parts of the ‘forest managing plan’, by the Forestry Administration of N.Aegean Region and individual researchers. • Implementation of a workshop for stakeholders and representatives of relevant with the forest protection matters departments of the Region in order to exchange knowledge and aspects. • Preparation of the managing plan related to the establishment of a ‘Forestry Cooperative Workmanship’ Workshop "Prevention" Frederikssund-Halsnæs, Denmark, 19-22 Sept 2011
Means (human, material, financial) • Materials and tools, such as resin dispensers, bark-cutting tools, lugging buckets, hackers, lugging buckets uploadable on carrying livestock, turpentine stills, flat scoops. • Professional workers and volunteers from the nearby area of the forests. • The financing of the whole project of ‘tree tapping’ could be sponsored by the money the ‘Forestry Cooperative Workmanship’ will gain while selling the resin.
