SCALE UP EFFORT PLAN to provide prevention and care nationwide • 37 Sites supervised by GHESKIO-MOH • (14 government sites and 23 NGO) • We provided training primarily in support of nationwide ART scale up. • GHESKIO-IMIS, Center of Excellence • To train participants to manage people infected or exposed to HIV/AIDS, including pregnant women and street children. • 7 New sites (Diquini, Bernard Mews, Petit-Goâve, Fermathe, Communauté Haïtienne, Bombardopolis and Eliazar Germain)

KEY PLANS FOR 2007 • Pediatric Care • Techniques: PCR (Roche), PCR-Easy Q (Biomérieux), P24 and DBS-PCR • National Pediatric guidelines • More seminar on the Management of HAART • Refresh course on VCT/HAART • Laboratory • Strengthen the management of patients on HAART in centers offering palliative care (Chemistry, CD4, HIV)
CONCLUSION GHESKIO to fulfill is mission: • Patient care • Training • Research Haiti plan to provide HAART Care to 25,000 PLWHA by 2009. Half of them in GHESKIO-MOH Network.
