  2. Transmegeddon • Transmageddon is a video trans-coder for Linux and UNIX systems built using GStreamer. It supports almost any format as its input and can generate a very large host of output files.

  3. What is the overall goal of the software? • The goal of the application is to help people create the files they need to be able to play on their mobile devices. Also for people not hugely experienced with multimedia to generate a multimedia file without having to resort to command line tools with ungainly syntaxes.

  4. Is it easy to use? • Yes! • The application utilizes an easy to use GUI that asks for the input file, a preset, and an output format
