S • At CHS, when we • 1. Develop common understandings of essential knowledge and skills prescribed by the standards and the Fulton County Standards Mastery Framework (SMF), and • 2. Create and refine common assessments, and • 3. Determine engaging strategies aligned to the standards, and • 4. Reflect on and modify instruction based on collected assessment data and student work, and • 5. S Grading Expectations • As a community, it is important to partner with parents and students in terms of maximizing student growth. We must communicate progress towards learning goals, as well as end results, in a timely manner. • At least one grade per week. • Support student in keeping abreast of their progress and performance in your class. • No surprises before reporting. • • School-Wide Grading Weights • Summative Grades – 40% • Formative Grades – 40% • Homework – 0% • Progress Reporting – 0% • Final Exam – 20%
